HANNAH & ROY IMOGEN // the garden

Our Aunt JoAnne's garden outside Barcelona has always been a favorite spot of ours for photos, what with its ancient olive tree, ferns, jasmine and sweet mess of other delicious smelling foliage. When she passed away, we knew with heavy hearts that we would have to say goodbye. Enjoy a few photos of Hannah and Roy on our last day there - soaking up the beauty and thinking about AJ, one of our favorite gardeners. She truly influenced our own love of wild green and the need to bring it into our own homes and gardens.

AIRBNB // neighborhoods

It was such an honor to shoot eleven barrios of Barcelona for Airbnb's new Neighborhoods, a project that explores the unique neighborhoods that make up some of the world's loveliest cities. Barcelona is now up on the site with a host of other places, allowing you to explore and learn about each 'hood before you visit (or just for dreaming's sake). We especially enjoyed wandering through Gracia, Horta Guinardo, and Poble Sec.

See below for some favorite moments, and view other outtakes in our portfolio.

REGRESO // home

We're home from Barcelona, but we think about it often. We're especially missing the peachy pink sunsets today. A few shots of Kelty and playa Barceloneta from our last trip:

We're back in Barcelona for a spell. Let us know if you're around to meet for a cortado or stroll in parc de la ciutadella... A handful more unedited 35mm from last month below.

WANDERINGS // a day on film

We went for a long Barcelona walk the day our Aunt JoAnne passed away. We wanted to remember her window box of geraniums, the view from her apartment in both directions, her favorite street corners and cafe, the energy of her neighborhood. We were grateful to be together and felt closer to her through our wanderings. Unedited, 35mm film.
